Acne and Stress, Yes these two are working together!
The more stress we are under the more hormones our body will produce. These hormones such as cortisol can cause our blood sugars to go all out of whack. When the blood sugars rise in response to stress our skin can get the brunt of it.
What to do?
1) Decrease your load- Learn to say “no” to some of those extras that you don’t really need to do.
2) Ignore your cravings- Those cravings for high sugars, yummy carbs are just going to make your skin worse. So, try not to give in.
3) Meditate- Take 5 min, when you can, to de stress. Put your phone away, disconnect and breath in some fresh air. This will help restore normal levels of cortisol and clear up your skin!
4) Detox- Love your liver by doing a detox 1-2 times per year. Your body will love you for it. You will look younger, feel more energized and best of all it can clear away that acne!
